More specifically, it's from their sour-grapes-ridden letter withdrawing their bid for Yahoo. Actually, with all the doom-and-gloom, High School Drama Queenery of that letter, it's more like "poisoned grapes". Ah, Steve Ballmer, I expected much more from the man who invented "Developers".

Yeah, Google bailed out Yahoo on this one.
My economics is a little slipshod, but I'd guessing casual Google supporters are just losing confidence. Helping your competitor so that you don't have a bigger opponent seems more like protection money than a good investment.
Anyways, give it a few weeks. Google's 1st Q. profits are decent; I'm not too worried.
